Chris and I have been working together for over 25 years.
We have explored and pursued numerous occupations through those years, all of them creative and challenging.
For the last 10 years or so Chris has been very involved in glass, small scale blowing and flameworking. For Chris, glass is an evolving and challenging medium as you will see from the wide range of glass offerings. Chris has been published several times including “1000 GLASS BEADS” published by Lark books.
My interests run more with metals and stones both precious and common elements such as oyster shell and stones from the Damariscotta River, outside our shop. Chris and I collaborate on many of the pieces in the shop while still maintaining our distinct design concepts.
We live with our children, cats and dog in a small unremarkable Maine village where everyone knows their neighbors, you’re greeted with a wave and a smile.
We are fortunate to have a well equipped studio and retail shop in the mid-coast village of Damariscotta, and we love what we do. Maine is known for its resourceful and independent people and these traits relate to the art community that we find so inspiring.
